SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS WORK STREAM
Objective of the stream
To provide information/reference material to HIPSO DFIs in regards to the approaches of aligning the HIPSO indicators with the SDGs. This alignment is aimed at HIPSO member institutions, to collaborate and align the set of HIPSO metrics with the SDGs to support the scaling up of investments that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.
The Work Stream (WS) was formally established after the 2019 Annual Meeting in Madrid and is chaired
by Viviane Azevedo of IDB Invest.
Activities
- Harmonize data requirements for DFI clients to monitor and report on their contribution to the SDGs.
- Generate and share knowledge on topical issues around the attainment of the SDGs in the private
sector. - Coordinate with other initiatives around the SDGs to promote the harmonization of approaches
around the reporting of private sector contributions towards the SDGs.
